we had beef wellington semalam. sebenarnya dah lama nak buat tapi rasa macam remeh je nak membuatnya. dah berzaman dok tenung resipi dalam majalah jelita tahun lepas tapi still don't have the courage to make it.
sekali tu bila tengok take home chef curtis buat beef wellington terus datang balik rasa teruja tu.
beef wellington ni sebenarnya daging tenderloin or eye fillet yang di pan-grill lepas tu wrapped in pastry sheet dan dibakar hingga masak. it is believed that beef wellington was named after the 1st Duke of Wellington iaitu Arthur Wellesley yang gemar makan hidangan daging berbalut pastry ni.
thinly sliced for serving dan makan dengan sauteed vege & gravy. small portion je maklumlah nak diet kan? ;-)
i also made sausages in pastry puff for the children sebab diaorang belum belajar makan daging merah lagi
