Spiderman Cake

i was practising with rolled fondant yesterday. i spent 2 1/2 hours decorating this cake with a spiderman theme as a preparation towards fahmi's birthday. not that we'll be having a big birthday party but i just feel like wanting to present him with a nicely decorated home made birthday cake for his 5th birthday in january next year. well, maybe if the timing is right he'll be able to celebrate his birthday with his classmates. so i have to practice to perfection with his cake.

ada banyak kesan retak pada fondant but it is not so obvious, ha ha. i should go out and learn the correct way of preparing rolled fondant. i would have cause disgrace to whoever yang invent rolled fondant kalau dia nampak betapa buruknya fondant ku! but you can't strike me out for my effort.

now, yaya also wants me to decorate her cake... she wants princesses theme for her birthday... that is so sissy. i would rather she stick to dora rather than princesses with ruffless and all. ;-P

i prepared the fondant paste 3 days ahead... sakit tangan nak uli fondant. now i know kenapa fondant cake so priceyyy ;-)
