semalam nak upload video candle blowing by birthday boy tak kesampaian coz asyik error je... blogger pun penat mengupload je kerja dia. after a few attempt failed tengok jam pun dah kol 12tgh malam aku pun surrender, pergi mandi.

kol 12mlm baru nak mandi, itupun anak2 & hubby dah tidur coz aku balik kerja lewat sangat malam tadi. badan letih tapi mata tak nak lelap. agaknya sebab otak masih lagi melayan masalah2 negara yang tak berkesudahan... inilah bahana meeting yang dragged dari petang sampai ke malam. sampai terbawa2 mengganggu tidur. masuk jam 2 pagi barulah mata mau lelap... itupun tidur asyik terjaga & bila bangun pagi tadi mata sembab dan dark circles jadi teman setia. aku tertanya sendiri worth it ke semua ni? bilalah aku dapat kumpul semangat secukupnya to leave everything i had and move on create a new meaning to my life.

hari ni masuk ofis lambat 1/2 hour coz i waited until fahmi safely boarded pak yob's school van. i called the school to ensure he reaches school and called home to check if he has already returned home safely. alhamdulillah day one going to school with school van berjalan lancar. how i wish i can send and fetch my children from school... *sigh*

First Day

today is fahmi's birthday and also his first day at school.
he is excited about going to school, much more when he knows we both (me & hubby) will be sending him off to school. with fahmi i don't have to worry about him crying and wailing when we left him at the school. he has develop a certain confidence level within him, something he derived from being exposed to school thing from early age. but i did help to break the ice. he was all quite and holding himself back a bit masa mula2 sampai kat school. i played the role to introduce him to another boy. coincidently this boy's name sama dengan his old friend from smartreader kids. instantly i saw fahmi's eyes bercahaya and you see the bond almost instantly.


i makesure he had his breakfast at home before we left to school. i didn't pack any snack for him coz the school will provide snacks for morning break.


comelkan uniform dia? he was all smiles today... which is a good sign.

i left him at the school for 3 hours and came back to fetch him at 12noon. tomorrow he'll be chaffeur by pak yob. we pay him to send and fetch him from school. i'll be going to work a little bit late tomorrow after sending him off on pak yob's van. hope everything is well with his school.

Advance Birthday Party

alhamdulillah... fahmi's advance birthday party went well. the kids enjoy the candle blowing, chocolate throwing bit, chasing for balloons and playing and rambling with themselves. while the adults enjoy the food while catching up on each others, exchanging stories/remarks on each others kids, laughing out aloud (and a lot). on other words, everyone enjoy the party in their own way.

as for me, well yeah eventhough planning and seeing thorugh the whole event can be tiresome but it worth it. yup lenguh kaki, sakit sendi sebab berdiri satu hari buat preparation for the food all came afterwards. but i'm glad that i organised this party.

what's with the tongue in the cheek?

the birthday cake... in the end the cake colour theme looks like the american flag with the blue, white and red except it's light blue i'm using. i've lost touch with colours and penat too

we took a lot of this pictures. me and all the ladies who had contributed to the success of this party. the guys were jealous of us coz i made up this ladies only photoshoot, in the end my brother wants to sneak in the pics but i makesure i erased him from all the photos!

i couldn't thank my maid (in purple) & my sister's maid (in green) enough for helping me out and in the kitchen sampai jam 12tgh mlm berkemas!

no gifts for the children to bring home tapi kutabur spongebob chocolate coin untuk direbut anak2 kecil.

First Day...

first day of the new year pass by... another 3 more days before my boy celebrates his 5th birthday.
today i spent more than 3 hours decorating his birthday cake. i know some of you would probably raised an eyebrow asking isn't it too early? there is still one more day before his party at my mum's place on saturday. but well, if you minus friday (tomorrow) which happens to be my working day and the whole day on saturday where i'm going to be extremely busy preparing the food, i wouldn't be able to catch time to finish decorating the cake. that's what happen when you happen to be a working mother enthusiast on giving the best for his son's birthday.

i started icing the cake from morning. i was too caught up in my work that i almost forgot to prepare lunch. nasib baik hubby request for steam fish aja. ;-)
yaya asyik merungut coz it took me a long time to finish my work. i guess she was hoping to get my full attention today since it was a non-working day. sorry darling...

siap je decorate cake terus aku rasa nak demam. hubby ajak keluar jalan2... tak larat rasanya. fahmi pun terasa boring. before i could response to hubby's invitation semua orang dah terleka mengadap movie The Hulk kat tv3. sedar tak sedar rupa2nya fahmi dozed off sambil duduk.




eventually we did go out petang tadi after asar prayer. since i won't be cooking anything for dinner we decided to get a quick bite at McD in kota damansara. kebetulan pula terserempak dengan fahmi's classmate from smart reader who happens to be a sweet girl named nuha. fahmi used to had a crush on her masa mula2 masuk smart reader dulu. comel orangnya dan ramah pulak tu. i avoid mention about his crush coz i doesn't want to embarass him. i know he missed his friends (not only nuha)since they had to part ways after the school closed down. tapi sampai nuha left the mcD pun fahmi langsung tak berganjak dari tempat duduk dia. dia takut kami tease dia. pemalu yang amat anak teruna ni sorang. okaylah tu... takdelah mama risau anak mama jadi "pencinta wanita' iye tak?

Main Teka Teki

minggu lepas masa aku baru je nak makan malam tiba2 fahmi ajak aku berteka teki. i know he somehow rasa bosan takde orang nak diajak bertekak coz yaya tidur awal. walaupun aku betul2 tengah lapar but i indulge in to his teka teki.

fahmi: cuba teka haiwan apa yang yang kalau dia berjalan perlahan sangat?
mama: kura-kura
fahmi: betulll!!! (beaming with smiles)

fahmi: cuba teka haiwan apa yang duduk dalam air pastu badan dia besar sangat?
mama: ikan paus
fahmi: salahh!!! ikan jaws lah

aikk? sejak bila pulak jaws jadi lebih besar dari paus??? i didn't confront him, layan jelah.

fahmi: cuba teka haiwan apa yang duduk dalam air lepas tu dia boleh melompat?
mama: katak!
fahmi: betul!!!

fahmi: cuba teka haiwan apa yang kat badan dia ada belang2 hitam dengan putih
mama: kuda belang!
fahmi: eiii pandailah mama ni
mama: mama jawab betul ni dapat hadiah tak?
terus je he come to me and drop a wet kiss on my cheek. alamakkk cair mama macam ni. muahhh love you bebeh.

by this time aku pun dah siap makan. but he's not done with his teka teki, masih ada lagi yang dia nak tanya. his next question ni yang prompt me to twist his leg.

fahmi: benda apa yang boleh berlari laju?
mama: haah yang ni mama tau sangat... mestilah BUDONG!
fahmi tak terkata apa. tersengeh dia sebab dia tau mama kenakan dia. hahaha budong adalah watak superhero dalam siri drama kanak2 filipina. my kids always stuck in fornt of tv petang jumaat tengok cerita ni...

Melaka Trip

malam ni tak larat nak tulis entry panjang2. badan masih sakit2 from the day trip semalam. hence, tengok gambar jelah ye. we woke up late this morning, aku pun rasa terkejut bila terjaga tengok jam dah hampir 10am. tak pernah lagi bangun selewat ni! the whole family berpuasa sunat hari ni termasuk fahmi excluding yaya yang beria2 nak ikut berpuasa tapi tak masuk tengahari dah minta minum.

it was an exhausting trip, not an enjoyable one for the adults sebab banyak benda yang tak dapat nak buat i.e. naik menara taming sari, eye of malaysia and boat cruise but the children really enjoy themselves. we choose the wrong day/date sebab it was sunday dan kebetulan malaysians sambung cuti sempena Awal Muharram so melimpah ruah manusia. tu yang tak dapat naik menara berputar taming sari! frust betul. lepas tu nak naik boat cruise pun tak dapat coz petang tu hujan renyai2 so cruise diberhentikan *sigh*.

anyway, fahmi & yaya had fun dekat zoo. especially fahmi who gets to ride a horse... ditemani daddy! had too coz my boy ni berani2 takut. kali terakhir kami ke sini was 3years ago in december 2005 when fahmi was just 2. the 2005 trip lebih menyeronokkan.

unlike our zoo trip 3 tahun lepas kali ni kami naik tram keliling zoo, tak larat nak repeat the same journey yang sah melenguhkan kaki

the double decker bus with two faces kata yaya. i don't understand what she meant tapi bila tengok balik rupa2nya belakang bas ni nampak macam rupa hadapan bas.


sambil menunggu clearance untuk boat cruise... it was a windy day and sejuk je ditiup angin. fahmi suka sangat berlari2 kat tepi sungai melaka ni... macam2 layang2 agaknya dia rasa :-)




penat nak berjalan dari dataran pahlawan ke boat cruise kami naik beca.


we were supposed to be in this tower tapi sayang tak mampu nak beratur panjang dengan 2 orang budak kecik yang tak reti duduk diam ni. view dari tower ni mesti menarik... *sigh*

Btw, Selamat Tahun Baru Hijrah to all Muslims. Syukur Alhamdulillah atas nikmat & limpah kurniaNya kita masih lagi bernafas. Semoga kita semua diberi kekuatan Iman, ketakwaan dan perbanyakkan ibadah.

Kitchen Free Day

hari ni memang tak jejak kaki masuk dapur. we attended 2 wedding reception hari ni, makan nasi minyak puas2, so aku tak payah masak hehe.
1st reception was my distant cousin's (from my father's side)kat pendamar indah, port klang. aku sangat terhutang budi dengan keluarga dia especially his parents yang banyak tolong masa aku mula my 1st job in port klang. bukan setakat bagi shelter, makan minum, nasihat, kekadang sanggup hantar dan ambil aku balik kerja. the fact that aku tak pernah kenal keluarga dia tak jadi penghalang untuk mereka menerima aku seadanya. i'm really grateful for their kindness and they really made me feel belong.

coming back from port klang kami terus singgah ke majlis kahwin jiran setaman. honestly aku tak kenal pun tuan rumahnya, tapi since hubby rajin join kariah masjid baru ni ramai juga kawan2 baru yang kami dapat. serius cakap sejak 6 tahun tinggal kat taman ni, inilah majlis kahwin ke 2 yang kami dapat jemputan. sebelum ni kami cuma tengok je orang naikkan khemah dan tertanya2 sendiri majlis siapa tu. bukanlah makna kami ni kemaruk sangat nak makan kenduri orang tapi rasa a bit left out padahal dah 6 tahun jadi pemastautin. syukur alhamdulillah sejak naik masjid baru ni makin erat silaturrahim.

malam ni my children tidur awal. keletihan kot tambahan siang tadi tak nap langsung. lagipun aku dah pesan awal2 suruh diaorang berehat dan kalau boleh tidur awal coz esok kami nak pergi berjalan... siapa yang lewat bangun kena tinggal! tu yang semua obey heheh. we'll be going to melaka esok. that's the best i can offer to my kids sebagai penutup tirai 2008. the last we took them to melaka was in 2005, fahmi was about to turn 2 at that time and yaya was only 8mths old. nak bawa gi vacation jauh2 fulusnya tak mencukupi. so just bawa diaorang day trip ke melaka jelah, tak payah bazir duit sewa hotel. sure hotel rate melambung during peak season cenggini. and a famosa waterwolrd is being voted out from the list... no way we're going to let the kids main air dalam keadaan selsema yang belum betul sembuh ni.

aku pulak dapat virus selsema yaya. i'm the last among the 4 of us to catch the bug. cepat2 telan panadol & minta ubat selsema dengan doctor petang tadi... tak rela sakit2 badan sebelum sempat enjoy jalan2. hope the bug won't survive more than 24hrs in my body(kalau betullah cakap doctor tu when he gave me the strong prescription)
